Can you install a chandelier where a flush light was?
Usually, but not on the existing box. A standard ceiling box is rated for a few pounds. Anything heavier needs a fixture-rated box with bracing fixed to the joists. We fit that support first, which is a short job, then hang the chandelier safely.
Why does my LED lighting flicker on the dimmer?
The dimmer is almost certainly older than the bulbs. Dimmers built for incandescent loads cannot read the tiny current an LED draws, so the light stutters at the low end. Swapping to an LED-compatible dimmer fixes it in one visit.
Can you install lighting where no fixture exists?
Yes. We fish cable to the new position, cut a single opening, fit a rated box, and tie the run into a circuit with capacity to spare. We decide the switch location with you first, because moving it afterwards means opening the wall twice.
Is LED lighting installation worth the cost?
In rooms you use daily, it’s worth it. The savings come as much from bulbs you stop replacing as from the meter, particularly in stairwells and high ceilings where changing one is a chore. We can retrofit existing housings rather than replace them.
What is under-cabinet lighting?
A low-profile strip or puck fitted beneath wall cabinets to light the worktop directly, instead of relying on a ceiling fixture that your own body blocks. It is wired to its own switch, dimmable, and hidden from view at standing height.
